We inform you that a polarisation-maintaining (PM) S-band Thulium-doped fibre amplifier (TDFA) has been officially released. This novel PM S-band fiber amplifier has great optical properties such as a wide working wavelength range covered from S-band to C-band, high output power (>18dBm) and high extinction ratio (>20dB). The gain bandwidth is quite similar to our non-PM fiber amplifier (AMP-FL8221-SB-19-W), and the gain flatness between 1470nm and 1510 nm is very small. It can be used in a variety of applications, e.g. fiber optic sensing, spectroscopy, and optical telecommunications. Please take a look at the spec sheet from below and contact us.
