We are pleased to inform you that an Extended L-band EDFA is going on sale soon. Compared with conventional L-band fiber amplifiers, this new fiber amplifier extends the gain wavelength more than 1620nm with a lower noise figure, whose broad gain bandwidth is essential to increase the transmission capacity of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM). As well as wider bandwidth and lower noise, it also offers higher output power of more than 19 dBm. See the detail of the optical performance shown in Fig.2. It has not been officially on sale yet, but available upon request, please feel free to contact us.
