The AMP-FL56XX-OB/OP series O-band optical amplifier, enabled by in-house cutting-edge fluoride fiber technology, is a high-performance and versatile optical amplifier. It is designed for a wide range of optical networking applications such as data centers, metro access networks, and long-haul core systems. The 19-inch, 1U-size unit allows for high-density installation of multiple amplifiers in a rack-mount system, benefiting telecommunications carriers, data center service providers, and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The SNMP option allows for remote monitoring and integrated management over Ethernet networks.

The AMP-FL56XX-OB/OP series exhibits superior amplification performance independent on signal formats, i.e. ranging from legacy 100 Mbps IM-DD signal to 100GBASE-LR4 signal and 400GBASE-LR8 PAM4 signal, and is the best optical amplifier for network monitoring and reach extension of 10/100/400-Gigabit Ethernet based systems.
